The Opportunity
Join us as a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst on a dynamic Agile team responsible for the quality of digital channels within a major website redesign and migration project. You will ensure quality of Web, API, and backend components while contributing to continuous QA practice improvements.
Team Environment
- Agile multidisciplinary team (~15 people)
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, QA specialists
- QA team includes QA analysts and SDET resources
- High-volume delivery environment
- Hybrid work model with regular in-person collaboration days
What You'll Do
- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective testing strategies
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scenarios
- Validate Web applications, APIs, and backend systems
- Participate in quality activities related to site redesign and migration
- Perform tests in content editing and publishing environments as needed
- Work closely with developers and stakeholders to identify quality risks
- Apply Shift-Left principles throughout development
- Document and track defects
- Maintain test data and QA assets under version control
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and practices
- Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and adaptability in fast-paced deliveries
What You Bring
- 5+ years' QA experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and rigor
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in Agile teams
- Fluent in French and English
- Comfortable adapting to changing priorities
- Experience with CMS, especially Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), is an asset
Key Skills
- Extensive Web testing experience
- Manual and automated test strategy design and execution
- API and backend service testing
- Familiarity with TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and Shift-Left Testing
- Tools: Cypress, Selenium 4, Postman, REST Assured, Appium, Detox, Cucumber/Gherkin
- Version control: Git, GitHub
- Containerization and monitoring: Docker, Datadog
