Join our Credit Risk Models team as a Senior Data Scientist!

Act as an expert modeler developing and deploying credit risk models for individual and corporate clients. Lead, share knowledge, and contribute to strategic decisions and continuous improvement. Work autonomously with rigor and initiative in a flexible hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of regulatory probability, loss, and exposure models
• Communicate model insights to internal partners and regulators
• Collaborate with IT and business lines for model implementation
• Serve as team lead and expert on committees
• Identify and resolve modeling challenges
• Advance sector modeling techniques in line with regulations

Requirements:

• Degree in mathematics, statistics, financial engineering, econometrics or related
• 5 to 7 years relevant experience
• Expertise in statistical and probabilistic modeling or validation
• Deep knowledge of credit risk management, Basel Accord, CAR and OSFI guidelines
• Programming skills (preferably SAS or SQL)
• Knowledge of IFRS9 an asset
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence

Languages: English, French (frequent communication with partners)
