The Opportunity
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) to join a team responsible for the quality of digital channels in a major website redesign and migration project. You'll work in a dynamic Agile environment with frequent deliveries, ensuring quality at each development cycle stage. Your mandate includes ensuring quality for Web, API, and backend components and driving continuous QA practice improvements.
Team Environment
- Agile multidisciplinary team (~15 members)
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product leads, QA specialists
- QA team includes QA analysts and SDET resources
- High volume delivery environment
- Hybrid work model with regular onsite collaboration
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to design test strategies
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scenarios
- Validate Web applications, APIs, and backend systems
- Participate in quality activities related to the website redesign and migration
- Perform tests in content editing and publishing environments
- Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to identify quality risks
- Apply Shift-Left principles throughout the software development lifecycle
- Document and track defects
- Maintain test data and QA assets under version control
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and practices
- Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and adaptability in a fast delivery context
Required Qualifications
- Ideally more than 5 years of QA experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with rigor
- Proactive with ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Agile team experience
- Fluent in French and English
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing priorities environment
- Experience with CMS (content management systems), especially Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is an asset
Essential Skills
- Strong Web testing expertise
- Hands-on experience designing and executing manual and automated tests
- API and backend services testing experience
- Familiar with TDD, BDD, CI/CD, Shift-Left Testing
- Experience with tools like Cypress, Selenium 4, Postman, REST Assured, Appium, Detox, Cucumber/Gherkin
- Knowledge of Git, GitHub, Docker, Datadog
