Role:
The Building Electrical Maintenance Analyst consolidates project information, designs, and produces preliminary electrical plans for estimates, providing information to electrical engineering consultants and contractors. Active participation in project coordination meetings involving changes to MDA buildings is essential.

Specific Tasks:
Electrical Design: Designing electrical services, distribution, auxiliary systems, lighting, and control systems for building projects. Ensuring compliance with guidelines, codes, and regulations. Coordinating with other project disciplines and updating plans post-completion. Preparing budget estimates and work schedules. Conduct surveys, site visits, and track ongoing work with collaborative problem-solving.

Electrical Maintenance: Assisting in developing the maintenance program with the master electrician and maintenance specialist. Implementing best practices for maintenance techniques. Supporting major work planning, troubleshooting, and documentation management. Collaborating with suppliers and drafting maintenance service contracts.

Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, experience with HVAC systems and building electrical systems, complex problem-solving skills, and strong interest in building design and electricity. Mastery of Autocad, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and a unionized environment experience is beneficial.
