Welcome to Matrec, a division of GFL! We are a dynamic company focused on growth and safety, providing waste collection and processing, recycling, and organics services across North America with over 20,000 employees. We are looking for energetic and motivated full-time side and rear-loading truck drivers to support our growing company. Roles & Responsibilities: - Perform domestic waste collection in municipal areas with a side/rear-loading truck; - Exit the truck to manually collect in non-automated areas; - Maintain constant communication with dispatch; - Maintain professional relationships with customers at collection sites; - Complete daily reports, route sheets, and mechanical check forms; - Conduct vehicle inspection and safety rounds before departure; - Report any service request anomalies to dispatch; - Perform any other tasks requested by the immediate supervisor.
