The Equipment Specialist uses skills in equipment evaluation and analysis, combined with communication expertise, to deliver exceptional customer service and responsiveness in core business functions like credit underwriting, sales support, contract administration, and insurance. The role also focuses on accurately managing asset inventory and efficiently selling off-lease and repossessed equipment, utilizing deep knowledge and experience to maintain inventory control locations and establish sales channels for asset liquidation.

Your Role:

  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships with sales, operations, and risk management teams, offering expert advice on equipment appraisals and residuals to ensure alignment with business service agreements.
  • Asset and Risk Management: Adhere to banking regulations for residual value setting, including the insurance of unsecured residuals as required; ensure accurate tracking, evaluation, and pricing of inventory.
  • Financial Responsibility and Confidentiality: Collect proceeds from asset sales, ensuring timely recovery from vendors, auctions, and third-party sales while handling customer information discreetly.
