Description: We are seeking Extruder Operators in the plastics industry on the South Shore! Responsibilities: Prepare and set up machines for production, ensuring optimal downtime. Ensure adequate supply of raw materials and keep track of documents. Verify production records and ensure all necessary information and materials are available for efficient machine operation. Start extrusion lines following established procedures and production specifications, and perform required quality checks. Identify and solve technical operation issues. Fill out quality control logs and perform necessary lab tests. Perform minor mechanical repairs and report any anomalies to the supervisor or maintenance department. Support and guide assistant operators, and collaborate with the team across all machines. Adhere to plant regulations and occupational health and safety standards. Requirements: Minimum one year of experience on an extruder or relevant production experience. Availability to work various shifts as required (day, evening, or night). Physically demanding work: able to lift 50 to 60 lbs; good physical condition and manual dexterity. Team spirit and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Proactive, autonomous, and capable of taking production initiatives. Organized and methodical in task execution. Compensation: $25.19/h to $29.65/h based on experience.
