As a Fixed Machine Mechanic at Youville Thermal Plant, under the supervision of the foreman, you will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining fixed machines across various mechanical rooms in the STM network. Your tasks will include preventive maintenance and repair of steam and hot water boilers, water supply and condensate pumps, water and steam control valves, and chemical treatment systems. We seek individuals who hold a Class 2 or 3 Fixed Machine Mechanic Certificate and have experience in operating thermal plants fueled by natural gas.
