Under the supervision of the foreman, the fixed machinery mechanic oversees the operation and maintenance of machinery at the Youville thermal plant and various mechanical rooms across the STM network. Tasks include preventive maintenance and repair of steam and hot water boilers, water pumps, and chemical treatment systems. The ideal candidate holds a Certificate in fixed machinery mechanics class 2 or 3, a halocarbon qualification certificate, a class 5 driver's license with minimal infractions, and has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
