As a Fixed Machines Mechanic under the supervision of the foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing, operating, and maintaining fixed machines at the Youville thermal power plant and several mechanical rooms across the STM network. You'll perform preventive maintenance and repairs on steam boilers, water pumps, transfer and condensate pumps, and conduct periodic tests on controllers, flame indicators, temperature switches and more. We are looking for someone with a certification in class 2 or 3 fixed machine mechanics, experience in operating gas-fueled thermal plants, and a strong safety and customer-oriented mindset.
