As a Health and Safety Officer, you will evaluate, monitor, and report on environmental health and safety hazards from various job sites in Toronto. This role involves conducting daily field safety inspections, investigating incidents, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining safety for both workers and the public. You will actively engage with field workers, supervisors, and management to foster a culture of safety. Responsibilities include: ensuring safety on job sites, deploying to incidents for investigations, conducting safety audits, and facilitating training. Qualifications: A college diploma or university degree in a related field is preferred, along with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, a valid driver's license, and strong knowledge of EHS regulations.
