JOB DESCRIPTION: The Les Richeloises residence offers a friendly work environment with a warm ambiance and quality of life! Working in a residence is more than a professional experience; it's a life experience with rewarding responsibilities toward a cherished clientele. We are currently seeking talented Licensed Practical Nurses who are concerned about the health of residents.

SCHEDULE:

• TEMPORARY position (sick leave replacement)
• Full-time
• Between 32 and 40 hours per week
• Evening shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM
• Sunday to Saturday
• Every other weekend.

GENERAL ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer medication according to safety principles and the code of ethics
• Record residents' notes per the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ) and keep them up-to-date rigorously
• Contribute to the adjustment of residents' intervention plans through observations
• Promote proactive care among residents
• Respond to all emergency situations

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• College diploma (DEC) in nursing or vocational diploma (DEP) in health care assistance and nursing
• Familiarity with computer tools
• Knowledge of senior residences, a major asset
• Knowledge of the Symo software (an asset)
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in nursing care
• Member in good standing of the OIIAQ
