Hi! I'm Melissa, and I'm on the lookout for a babysitter or nanny for my son, Luca, in Vancouver. Luca is incredibly bright, curious, and deeply empathetic. He loves learning and enjoys when someone engages with him through playful interactions. Since he doesn't have much experience with sitters, we're seeking a consistent person who can build a connection with him over time. Initially, I'd like to start with short visits to help you both get to know each other. Eventually, this will progress to evenings that include bedtime. Luca is accustomed to me staying with him until he falls asleep, so there will be an adjustment period for him. Ideally, I'd like to go out one evening a week—typically Thursday from 5:30 to 9:30 pm—with the flexibility to switch nights if needed and possibly add extra evenings occasionally. I'm not strict about screen time on sitter nights but do encourage some playtime, a fun activity, and a few books before bed. I look forward to finding someone who is warm, patient, and reliable to be a steady presence in Luca’s life.
