Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is seeking its future evening-shift Operational Quality Supervisor for A220.

Job Summary:

Your mission as the Evening Quality Supervisor is to ensure the compliance of aerospace structures with engineering requirements, client specifications, and current quality standards while leading a team of quality inspectors and ensuring health and safety rules are respected during the evening shift. You will supervise inspection activities, solve quality issues, and promote continuous process improvement.

Challenges:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of quality inspectors during the evening shift.
• Ensure compliance of aerospace structures to engineering requests, client specifications, and Quality standards.
• Manage non-conformities, initiate corrective and preventive actions, and monitor them.
• Ensure measuring and inspection tools used by your team and production are calibrated and compliant.
• Participate in the development and implementation of inspection plans and quality procedures.
• Train and support team members in applying procedures and improving their skills.
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and maintenance departments to resolve quality issues and optimize processes.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, etc.).
• Ensure health and safety requirements compliance by your team.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports.

Your Profile:

• Technical DEC in mechanical engineering, aerospace manufacturing, or equivalent field OR a bachelor's degree in engineering or a quality management certificate OR relevant experience in a similar role.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in quality assurance in the aerospace sector, including at least 2 years in a supervision or leadership role.
• Proven experience in aerospace structures inspection.
• Mastery of reading and interpreting technical plans and complex schemes (structural, mechanical).
• Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS/EN 9100, etc.).
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving methods.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Acute sense of analysis, rigor, and meticulousness.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
• Autonomy, responsibility, and proactivity.
