Reporting to the branch manager, the operator processes residual materials using specialized technology and equipment in accordance with operational procedures of GFL Environmental Services. Main Responsibilities: The operator runs dredging boats, conveyors, power systems, and centrifuges dedicated to the valorization of residual materials. The operator focuses on production targets aligned with client and employer expectations, adheres to company policies, health and safety laws, documents operations in real-time, performs troubleshooting with external resources, carries out basic mechanical maintenance, demonstrates autonomy, and maintains client sites. Requirements: Significant work experience valued, valid class 5 driver's license, willingness to deploy across Quebec and other provinces for 1-3 weeks on 12-hour shifts with a paid week off after 21 days cycle. Positive leadership, safety-oriented, autonomy, resourcefulness, good communication, bilingualism and class 1 driver's license are assets. Work Conditions: Time and a half after 40 hours, daily per diem when deployed, annual bonus after the third year, hotel accommodation during deployments, operations from April to mid-December, paid benefits, remunerated travel time, employer-provided work clothes, probation policy for safety boots, high safety standards at many sites, and drug and alcohol testing compliance is mandatory.
