The Quebec Seminary is seeking a full-time, permanent pipefitter (plumber) for its workshop department. Pre-retirees and those interested in part-time work (3-4 days/week) are welcome! Your main role will involve verification, repair, modification, and installation in plumbing, heating, and automatic sprinkler systems. A valid certification recognized by the competent authority is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Repair or replace pipes and install new fixtures (faucets, valves, etc.).
• Handle domestic lines for air, water, sewage, and gas.
• Unclog sinks, showers, urinals, toilets, and floor drains.
• Operate and shut down plumbing systems.
• Bend, cut, thread, install, and connect pipes.
• Maintain heating and circulation pumps.
• Check the necessary materials for tasks.
• Oversee support personnel.
• Handle preventive maintenance of sprinkler and heating systems with subcontractors.
