Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled Power Electronics Designer to enhance our hardware design team in Montreal. This hybrid role involves crafting and testing power electronics PCBs, focusing on motor drive units, DC power systems, and telemetry circuits. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design high-frequency, high-efficiency power electronics PCBs
  • Develop schematics, layouts, and simulations
  • Select and qualify electronic components
  • Support PCB assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams

Qualifications:

  • 3-10 years in power electronics and PCB design
  • Experience in DC/DC converter design, stability and reliability analysis
  • Proficiency in input filter design, PCB design, and SPICE simulations
  • Bilingual in English/French is a plus, but not mandatory
