Job description

As a Product Investigations Engineer - Canada Vehicle Safety, you will take charge in crafting responses to defect and compliance inquiries primarily from Transport Canada. Collaborate with various departments such as Customer Care and Technical Service to spot trends and ensure regulatory compliance. You'll actively engage with external groups like Transport Canada and internal teams including Product Development and Customer Care.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in cross-functional roles with increased responsibilities.
  • Knowledge in Vehicle Safety, Federal Regulations, and Product Development is advantageous.
  • Strong communicative abilities for clear interactions within the organization and with external partners.
  • Must be adept at handling multiple assignments under tight deadlines with accuracy.

Preferred:

  • Possession of a Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required, ideally from an ABET accredited institution.
