Job description

As a Production Shift Supervisor, you will report to the Plant Superintendent. Your primary duties will involve supervising and coordinating a production team's activities. Key responsibilities include overseeing administrative duties of employees and ensuring production and quality goals are met while promoting a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves working rotating shifts (day, evening, night, and weekends) based on operational needs. Requirements include a secondary or collegial degree ideally related to production management, and 3-5 years of team management experience in a unionized manufacturing setting. Desirable skills include knowledge of the pulp, paper, and food packaging sector and expertise with workplace safety laws, HACCP standards, and IT proficiency (MS-Office).
