Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the SMI manager, you will be in constant communication with operations to plan and carry out operational surveillance. Your mission is to act as the compliance officer for an assembly sector. Work closely with the quality inspector and the sector's production supervisor. This position is located in Mirabel with travel to final assembly lines (Mirabel, Toronto, Mobile) expected.

Your Challenges:

• Ensure adherence to the surveillance schedule.
• Execute the surveillance ranges in your assigned area of the plant.
• Identify discrepancies detected during surveillance and record them in the dedicated tool.
• Follow up on the discrepancies until closure.
• Work collaboratively with different functions to ensure the relevance of safeguarding and corrective actions.

Your Profile:

• DEC or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of aeronautical component assembly processes (production and inspection) for one or more of the following disciplines:
  • Aluminum structure assembly
  • Aeronautical electrical systems
  • Aeronautical hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools like 8D, 9S.
• Knowledge of PE manufacturing processes (an asset).
• Recognized for your team spirit, autonomy, problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, initiative, and organizational skills.
