Position: Service Technician/Mechanic

• Location: Pointe Claire, QC
• Schedule: 8:30am - 4:30pm / 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and conduct internal repairs, provide emergency onsite services and troubleshooting as needed.
• Diagnose issues with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, control, and electrical systems.
• Perform inspection and preventive maintenance services.
• Install and commission hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Maintain all customer and service records, follow company processes and procedures for all service calls, repairs, and warranty requests, including appropriate documentation in our system.
• Provide technical support, product advice, pricing, and quotes to customers.
• Inform customers about products and recommend system modifications.
• Build trust and develop relationships with customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Coordinate and visit key customers according to a strategic schedule.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations/policies in Wainbee and client facilities.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in industrial mechanics and/or hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic diagrams is an asset.
• Technical training and demonstrated knowledge of industrial products is an asset.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel to client sites.
• Strong communication skills and technical knowledge.
• Physical Requirements: The role may involve physically demanding tasks including carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects weighing at least 50 pounds regularly, and bending, crawling, and walking on uneven surfaces.
