Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform repairs in-house, provide emergency services and on-site troubleshooting when necessary.
- Diagnose issues related to hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, control, and electrical systems.
- Perform inspection and preventive maintenance services.
- Install and commission hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
- Maintain all customer and service records, follow company processes and procedures for all service calls, repairs, and warranty requests, including proper documentation in our system.
- Provide technical support, product advice, pricing, and quotations to customers.
- Educate customers on products and provide recommendations on system modifications.
- Build trust with customers and develop relationships.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate and visit key customers based on a strategic schedule.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations/policies at Wainbee and customer facilities.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in industrial mechanics and/or hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic schematics is an asset.
- Technical training and demonstrated knowledge of industrial products are an asset.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Willing to travel to customer sites.
- Strong communication skills and technical knowledge.
- Physical Strength and Capability: Role may include physically demanding tasks, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects of at least 50 pounds regularly, as well as bending, crawling, and walking on uneven surfaces.
