Application Architect – Java & Modernization
Location: Montreal, QC – Hybrid
Join Highspring and take the lead in enterprise application modernization and engineering transformation initiatives. We are looking for an experienced Application Architect with deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot architecture, who can also drive innovation in Quality Engineering, CI/CD, and DevSecOps. This client-facing role offers hands-on leadership to define architectures and modernization roadmaps while enhancing application security and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modernize legacy applications leveraging Java, microservices, and cloud-native designs.
- Lead quality engineering transformations and shift-left testing.
- Drive DevSecOps initiatives embedding automated security within SDLC.
- Facilitate technical workshops and provide expert guidance.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in software engineering or architecture.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs.
- Strong background in test automation frameworks and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
