Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior SDET / Software Engineer in Test with expert skills in Java, Spring Boot, and modern test automation to lead a large-scale QA Transformation project. This role focuses on developing automated testing frameworks for end-to-end, integration, and API tests within microservices environments. This is a highly technical, software engineering driven QE role, not manual QA.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks in Java
- Build end-to-end, integration, and API test automation
- Enhance Spring Boot and microservices test automation
- Troubleshoot and validate complex integrations
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate software quality
- Drive QA-to-QE transformation through modern practices
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in SDET, software engineering or test automation
- Extensive Java development and automated testing framework expertise
- Experience with end-to-end and integration testing
- Skilled in testing Spring Boot applications and microservices
- Strong API and RESTful testing knowledge
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality engineering principles
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Python, AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC, TypeScript
- Experience with cloud-native and performance testing
