Lead Mechanical Engineer - Fleet Reliability and Operations
Join GE Vernova’s Hydro division as a Lead Mechanical Engineer with 5-10 years’ experience in hydroelectric turbine or alternator design. Work on cutting-edge rehabilitation and new projects, supporting service, warranty, and project close-out activities. Enjoy a hybrid work model with office presence in Brossard and remote work options.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-site engineering support, including inspections, testing, and troubleshooting
- Reliability issue resolution and design feedback
- Primary on-site contact for operations and maintenance contracts
- Design and documentation for service projects up to $5M
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years hydroelectric sector experience
- Membership in Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Authorized to work in Canada
