Job Description
Job Title: Machine Operator 1
Join our operations team as a Machine Operator 1, responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing railway maintenance and inspection equipment. This field-based role offers diverse equipment experience with a strong focus on safety, technical skills, and leadership during operations. Candidates should have mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or machine workings experience and hold relevant certifications such as Railroad Certifications, CPR/First Aid, and a valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities include conducting machine inspections, performing maintenance, reporting, and adhering to strict safety guidelines. Must be ready for 100% travel, including international trips. Starting pay ranges from $24.00 to $25.00 per hour.
Work environment: Physically demanding with need for excellent communication, reasoning, and the ability to operate in challenging conditions. Pre-employment physical and background checks are required.
