Are you a strategic legal executive ready to shape a national institution? BCH is seeking a visionary leader to oversee legal, governance, risk, internal audit, and corporate secretary functions nationwide. Serving on the Executive Leadership Team and advising the CEO and Board, you will help build the legal foundations of Canada's new federal housing agency. This is a unique role for an experienced bilingual legal professional with strong governance expertise, ready to make a meaningful impact on affordable housing across Canada.
Location options: Toronto (HQ), Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax.
Ideal candidate:
- Law degree and Canadian license to practice law
- 15+ years progressive legal and executive leadership experience
- Expertise in commercial transactions, real estate, infrastructure projects
- Board advisory and public-sector governance knowledge
- Fully bilingual in English and French
