Are you an experienced Toolmaker with a background in manufacturing or aerospace? Join Airbus's A220 commercial aircraft programme in Mirabel, Quebec. You'll be key in building, modifying, repairing, and maintaining mechanical tools, jigs, and equipment essential to aircraft manufacturing and assembly. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret mechanical tooling plans, 3D models, and technical specifications
- Manufacture, assemble, and adjust jigs and production tools
- Operate conventional and CNC machinery
- Diagnose and repair tool malfunctions
- Ensure tooling precision and calibration
- Support continuous improvement and training
- Uphold health and safety standards
Qualifications
- DEP or AEC diploma with 3+ years' experience in toolmaking/mechanics
- Skilled in blueprint reading and precision measurements
- Experience in aerospace/jig manufacturing is a plus
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and organized
- Manual dexterity and possible on-call duties
