Our Airbus Atlantic site in Mirabel is looking for its future Methods Support Supervisor for UAP.

Job Summary:

The methods supervisor will have a team of methods agents reporting directly to him and will report to the methods manager. He will primarily liaise with the Production sector to provide technical support to production operators and will master an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.

Your Challenges:

• Coordinate and organize the various activities of the team.
• Ensure that team priorities are respected.
• Ensure the team meets cost, quality, and time objectives.
• Implement, maintain, monitor, and communicate performance indicators (e.g., OTD, EVM, FTR).
• Ensure technical scope meets client and program, manufacturing, and industrialization requirements.
• Support the team on technical issues and decision-making.
• Foster team development and conduct individual meetings.
• Organize and maintain team cohesion.
• Prepare and present projects for validation with various functions.
• Lead meetings and update tracking files.
• Report project status at different management levels.
• Manage department budgets.
• Develop risk management plans, including mitigation plans.
• Participate in problem-solving and recovery plans.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes.
• Promote health and safety and company values.

Your Profile:

• College degree (DEC) in aeronautics, Bachelor's in a technical or management field is an asset.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in methods with solid aeronautical sector experience.
• Knowledge of assembly processes and ability to read technical drawings.
• Proficient in aeronautical standards and manufacturing range creation and interpretation.
• Understand tolerance principles and dimension chains.
• Knowledge of elementary parts is an advantage.
• Proactive, rigorous, and responsive. Able to work teamwork and autonomously.
• Strong interpersonal skills, leadership, and ability to communicate effectively and politely.
