The Disability Case Manager plays a crucial role in assessing, coordinating, and managing Short-Term and Long-Term Disability claims. Your key responsibilities include precise claim adjudication and fostering effective communication across stakeholders. You will guide clients through the disability process, focusing on strategic return-to-work or accommodation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage claims in accordance with relevant policies and laws.
  • Assess eligibility and benefits duration using medical documentation.
  • Organize medical evaluations and functional assessments.
  • Maintain regular communication with all involved parties.
  • Design and oversee individualized work reentry plans.
  • Document cases comprehensively while adhering to privacy standards.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in nursing, social work, rehabilitation, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in STD and LTD claims.
  • Preferred certification in Case Management.
  • Proficiency in disability legislation and strong communication skills.
