Job Summary

Well-established organization seeks a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join their team. You'll handle installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment across the Ottawa and Gatineau regions. Your strong technical skills and customer-centric approach will ensure top-notch service for our clients.

Duties

• Install and repair equipment on-site following company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance to maintain equipment performance.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide prompt, effective solutions.
• Keep accurate service and parts records for each visit.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service.
• Collaborate with team members for process improvements and customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, electronic, plumbing, and gas-fueled equipment.
• Assist in equipment installations and major repairs.
• Manage maintenance contracts, performing product demonstrations and training.
• Be available for overtime as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma (minimum) and college course in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic fields.
• Proven mechanical and electrical aptitude with 3-5 years of related experience.
• Bilingual in English and French.
• Valid driver's license with a clear abstract.
• Valid provincial gas fitter's license; willingness to obtain certification in Ontario with extra compensation.
• Valid passport for travel to the US for training.
