Requirements
Driver requirements:
- At least 25 years old
- Valid Quebec driver's license: class 5 or higher (only numbers 1 to 5 are eligible) and no “X” condition on the license
- One year driving history
- Driver training certificate
- Annual evaluation reviewing your driving history and background check
- Any smartphone capable of downloading and running the Lyft Driver app
Vehicle requirements:
- 4-door vehicle from 2016 or newer
- Vehicle license plate and registration in Quebec
- Insurance indicating the driver as primary, secondary, or occasional driver
- The vehicle year may vary by region.
- Depending on where you sign up to drive, you may be subject to additional requirements.
